Wow! After so much thought, planning, prayer and preparation we are only a week away from our departure to Niger. It's a funny thing how something seems so far off and then sneaks up on you.
Our team faced some last minutes changes as one team member needed to cancel her trip due to her husband's health concerns and then we added two new members! Both of the "newbies" have been to Niger before though not with such an amazing team. They will add so much to our crew.
Thank you for following us on this blog. We hope to update it regularly so you can travel with us on this mission. However, the electronic communication systems in Niger aren't what they are here so we could face some challenges. But we'll work through them.
And, on behalf of all the team members, thank you friends and family for enabling us to participate in this mission! You are also serving the people of Niger with us by holding down the fort while we're away.
**In the title I wrote "less for some" because two from our team are leaving Saturday and five others are leaving Tuesday.
